Challenged to write a trad folk album with this title, Dave went at it with full gusto and managed to write two songs adhering to the original strict guidelines of political stuff and trad folk arrangements before losing interest and falling back on a couple of stupid jokes he thought of a couple of months before and calling it an EP. it's not quite trad folk, but there are a lot of root/5th bass lines, so it might count. Considering that it only took a week and a half to record and mix, it's quite an achievement in its own right. If you are already a Plastic Squirrel fan, this is nothing like what we normally do. If you're not, then fair enough, you probably won't like the usual stuff either.

Worth it just for the Cat on a Sofa song which is a firm favourite in our house.
